FOCCEC's Social Media Policy and Guidelines outline the rules that staff, volunteers, and interns must adhere to when using social media, blogs, and websites. The policy aims to encourage the sharing of experiences and successes in a way that enhances the organization's image and raises awareness of its work, while establishing controls to protect information, staff, and beneficiaries. This is especially true for posting about personal, public topics that have been previously published, but special permission must be obtained when sharing content related to specific, specific, or organizational projects, or any content bearing FOCCEC identity, such as a logo or official uniform. As required by the policy, you must be particularly careful about other people, and do not post any confidential or sensitive information that could be identified by the targeted individuals or individuals. Public criticism of governments or other organizations is prohibited, and employees are asked to exercise caution when posting, including a disclaimer stating that the views expressed are personal. In some cases, posting restrictions may be imposed for security reasons, and these guidelines must be adhered to. Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of contract. In general, FOCCEC encourages the use of social media to support its work, but within a framework that protects its interests and enhances its positive impact.
