Forearms of Change Centre to Enable Community (FOCCEC) is a Jordanian civil society organization established in 2012, addressing Social and health needs dedicated to providing services and advocating in the fields of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and harm reduction. FOCCEC addresses a wide range of critical issues, including family planning, antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, the prevention, and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV prevention and support, and the prevention of violence against women and girls. Recognizing the intersection between SRHR and substance use prevention, FOCCEC serves people who use drugs (PWUD) and actively advocates for the adoption of a national harm reduction approach. As one of the first organizations to address HIV at the national level.
FOCCEC has four branches across Jordan—Amman and Zarqa in the central region, Irbid in the northern region, and Karak in the southern region—and operates as a registered non-profit organization (Registration No. 371) with a strong governance framework. The Board of Directors oversees the organization's management, while the General Assembly ensures accountability and supervises the Board’s performance, reinforcing FOCCEC’s commitment to effective leadership, advocacy, and community empowerment.
FOCCEC is a Jordanian NGO that is committed to addressing the health and social needs of vulnerable communities. FOCCEC aims to enhance the communities’ resilience, build their capacities, and promote healthy lifestyles through dignified, sustainable, accessible healthcare, protection, and social services.
