The (Forearms of change) Center's anti-fraud policy seeks to develop controls that help detect and prevent fraud within the organization. FOCCEC aims to prevent all forms of fraud or any type of dishonesty by creating a professional environment characterized by values and integrity. This policy applies to all stakeholders within the organization, including managers, employees, and volunteers. Anyone who commits fraud or complicit in failing to report it will be subject to disciplinary action. This includes establishing a system of internal control, managing risks effectively, and ensuring that all decisions are made accurately and without personal gain. Fraud is defined as any dishonest act to obtain money or property through illegal means or through forged documents. This is considered a reportable crime. The CEO is responsible for developing a response plan to determine the level of fraud risk and establishing an effective control environment to prevent fraud. The CFO is also responsible for monitoring financial records and verifying financial transactions.All employees and volunteers are required to report any suspicious activity that may indicate fraud. If fraud is reported, a full investigation will be conducted under the leadership of the Executive Director, and appropriate action will be taken, including disciplinary action in accordance with Jordanian labor laws. Major cases will also be referred to local legal authorities.
