With the support of the MENAHRA Network (Middle East and North Africa Harm Reduction Association) and in cooperation with the University of Jordan Faculty of Pharmacy, Sawad Al-Tasar Center conducted an evaluation of the realities of drug risk reduction services in Jordan. Professor Dr. Mayad and other staff members reviewed the evaluation on Wednesday, November 10.
Stakeholders from the government, civil society organizations, and researchers and scholars met on December 7 to discuss and inquire about the results of the report.
The results and recommendations of this report are key to understanding the current state of harm reducation services, and thus crucial to improving said services. This evaluation was the first of its kind to be conducted in Jordan.
